Bridgestone Tire service will be attending the MCRA events this season. We will be carrying DOT's in stock, Slicks will be first come first serve. Pre order slicks to ensure we have them for you, same with Rains. Group buy discounts available. Call or text 636-248-4713 will check here as often as time permits. Looking forward to seeing you all at the track.

What DOT tires are you going to be selling and how do they compare to Pirelli or Michelins DOT or Race tires?

Its a legitimate question, I know nothing about bridgestone tires as Pirellis and Michelins were what was being pushed at the track and with Michelin gone I would be willing to try a set of Bridgestones.

Why will this be fun Road Runner? Drews question is a legitimate question and it doesnt mean a stones rep will badger michelin/pirelli/dunlop ect. At the club level there are few who can feel anything different between the brands. Its like me saying Velocity Calibrations is the only person that will touch my suspension where as that guy over there uses TSE or Thermosman. The decision of which brand to run is a business choice if anything. Personally i will be throwing a set on at putnam.

Very good question and I will do my best to answer it. I have run all 3 tires and each has their own bonuses. To say any one is better than any other has way too many variables at our level. I personally used to only chase the tires that I could get cheapest and had very good success with all of them. I was given the chance to run Bridgestone tires all last year and from my personal experience I was very pleased with them. I was able to get 2 full weekends and race on them with my SV and still be very competitive with Geno and Mark, all 3 on different tire brands those races too. When i removed the tires they still had life in them but i wanted fresh tires on for the next races. I love the front slick and was never able to find the limit of the rear at any of the tracks. We are working on contingency this year. To say you will throw these on and run the fastest lap time ever will be a lie, but if you are willing to work with them and get the proper setup like you should with any tire change. I don't think you will be disappointed, and having tire support trackside is always a bonus when looking for tire choices.

We will have R10 dot in stock and slicks will mostly be pre order. If you have any special tire requests let me know ahead of time and we can make sure to have them in stock for you when needed.

PS they are round and black, but bridgestones are more round and black then the rest. :D

Okay, so they are more round and black. How much green do they require in comparison to the other brands? :) Or more specifically bang for the buck. I personally thought the Dunlop slicks were a good bang for the buck but I didn't run them very often in favor of the Michelin's mostly because of the contingency James had going on them. I picked up a couple of sets of Pirelli's from Jeff to try out at Hallett next weekend but I would certainly give the stones a shot and throw you some business.

I agree Drews question was a good one I just suspected some tension could result.

Looking calm so far so that's good news and as it should be !
