|Post subject:||Noob making check in.|
Im Dave, rode bikes my whole life. Was injured 6 years ago. (not on a bike) Multiple surgeries (3 spinal fusions) later..Im getting better. Well enough Im ready to get back on a bike. I want to go a different direction this time, and learn a little about track riding. I figured a noobie track day would be ideal. Ill probably pick up a little 300 or something and start from the beginning.
Any good sites for a noob to look over?
Glad to be here, and thank you in advance.

Hey Dave! Welcome to MCRA!
Please reference our website at http://midwestcaferacing.com/track-days/ for your track day information about what is needed for the rider/bike. For basic riding info, Ken Hill podcasts are really popular as are the Twist of the Wrist videos/books. We offer personal coaching at our track days (I am a coach, as well) and are happy to work with you on basic skills and how to improve.
If you have any other questions, your best bet for quick replies are to post to the club's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MCRARACING/) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a good one!
