Hi, my name is Scott. I'm excited to be participating in my first track day at Gateway this coming July 23rd and 24th. I'll be driving from Columbia with a 2009 Ninja 250 that I've been riding for around 3 years now. The attached file is a picture taken right after I bought the bike, it has remained mostly unchanged since that picture was taken. It has been a long time goal of mine to put the 250 on a track and I'm really looking forward to getting involved and meeting some new people.

I'm betting we'll have another racer in the ULGT class soon. :) Welcome!

Thanks, racing does sound like a blast!

I do have a question about number plates. I've done some searching and found a couple discussion threads that applied more to what is acceptable for racing and less about what is necessary for the more casual track weekend. Obviously, visibility is main objective but outside of that do I need to follow any format/color rules?

Nope. Unless you're racing, just make sure it's legible. You can just use painters tape to make a number so it's easy, too.
